As an ambitious woman, Ms. I.M has been a scholar full of potential when studying for a Ph.D. (Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) at a prestigious university in China. Yet, due to the language barrier and significantly different culture, she wants to redirect to pursue a PhD in Australia – an English-speaking country.
With such a motivation to advance in her educational path, Ms. I.M has successfully applied for a Doctor of Philosophy (Geospatial Sciences) course at RMIT and even received a 100% scholarship offer. Filled with the aspiration to bring her husband along on the studying journey in Australia, she decided to seek the support from EMK Global to process the student visa for both.

Mr. A. WARRAICH is holding a 485 visa and he came to us to seek assistance in processing visas for his wife and child in his home country Pakistan. Muhammad U. winning his case at Administrative Appeals Tribunal

▪️Muhammad came to Australia in March 2020 to study Bachelor of Information Technology at a reputed university in Sydney. Unfortunately, things did not go as per his expectations and as a result, he downgraded his study level and enrolled in a Diploma course, and changed to study at different colleges. Muhammad did not complete any of his studies in Australia for the last 3.5 years due to different reasons.

▪️In October 2022, the Department canceled Muhammad’s student visa due to a breach of condition 8202 (not enrolling in a registered course at the same AQF level). He quickly engaged with our migration team for assistance in lodging his AAT application.

▪️After carefully examining Muhammad’s circumstances, we prepared a strong submission with supporting documents for him. Our team also supported U to get a bridging visa so he could stay lawfully in Australia.

▪️Although it has been a year full of struggles, including being involved in some legal matters that impacted Muhammad’s study progress and personal life, finally, we have won the case. On 22 November 2023, the visa cancellation decision was set aside by the AAT.

▪️Muhammad burst into tears when he heard about his winning. He felt very fortunate that he could continue his studies in Australia and achieve his dream.

Australia is a developed country that offers many opportunities for all. However, not everyone can find the right path upon arriving in a foreign country for the first time. As someone who has been studying in Australia since 2019, Mr. A also took a relatively long time to find the right field of study for himself after receiving advice and support from EMK.
Having switched from studying IT to Commercial Cookery because he felt it was not suitable for him, Mr. A was still dissatisfied with the quality and training environment of the Level 3 College he attended.
